My name is Dailyn. I’m 28 years old, a self-taught photographer, solo traveler, avid outdoors girl and proud dog-mom.
My career started in biology and transitioned into visual communications once I realized that the research I was doing needed to reach a larger audience.
Currently engaged with Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance and a collaborator with Grace Perry Productions.
The Four Pillars of My Work
Intentional optimism
It is time to move away from fatalism and guilt in a world of constant change. Instead, I choose to highlight the positives and demonstrate how change is possible when we all contribute to finding solutions to our greatest problems.
Genuine authenticity
My two passions of conservation and communication have mostly been valued as mutually exclusive, but here they come together to achieve a common goal. I am passionate and unapologetic in the pursuit for good art and good stories from good people.
Intersectional collaboration
Environmental justice requires an intersectional and interdisciplinary approach. Through my photography, videography, and various content channels I am building a network of global citizens looking to make the world a more equitable place by amplifying the stories and people that have long been underrepresented.
Sustainable creativity
Art has a way of speaking to people in a way that data and statistics cannot. Even still, we must be mindful of the impact we can have on the world around us. That’s why my content is produced to a high ethical standard and involve sustainable practices.
